Thursday is the new Day one ...

Pork chops in onion and mushroom sauce

Morning weigh-in: 'Stall-weight'

Ready, steady, GO on the new day one!

Breakfast - Net Carbs: 2g, Cals: 227
bacon, eggs and half a tomato, fried in olive oil

Lunch - Net carbs: 5g, Cals: 620
Double-cheese Omelette
15g butter
1 tbs finely chopped red onion
2 eggs
1 tbs double cream
60g full-fat cream cheese
30g Cheddar cheese, grated
0.5 tbs chopped parsley

Add the soft cheese to the mix, and pile the Cheddar onto the finished omelette before folding.

Dinner - Net carbs: 10g, Cals: 472
Pork chops with creamed onion and mushrooms
Brussels sprouts

Snacks - Net carbs: 3g, Cals: 254
3 raw cashew nuts
1oz Cheddar cheese
butter
2 Cheddar cheese crispie thins

Daily totals: Net carbs: 21g, Cals: 1,809

As I have been low-carbing for some time, have lost 25lbs, and am a tortoise at losing weight, I am also going to keep an eye on my calorie intake to see if it is relevant when I keep the carbs below 25g per day. It's not normally sensible to weigh every morning, but necessary to draw a reasonably accurate conclusion from the experiment.

    I understand about the menu...Its easier for me as Mr T is also low carbing!
